Our client, an independent, Leeds-based firm of chartered accountants, business advisors and tax specialists, are currently recruiting for a Senior Corporate Tax Compliance Manager to join their well-established CT team, due to the continued growth of their firm. Key Responsibilities:

Provide tax planning and compliance advice to clients on employment tax matters and other corporate tax issues to a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to relevant legislation and regulations.

Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact for tax-related queries
Identify tax planning opportunities for clients and provide advice on the tax implications of business decisions.

Review and oversee the preparation of corporate tax returns and computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.

Assist with tax audits and investigations, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

Support the development of junior staff through training and coaching.

Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and identify opportunities for clients to reduce their tax liabilities.

Work collaboratively with other teams within the firm to provide a holistic service to clients.

Participate in business development activities, identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow the firm's client base.

Requirements

  • ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent

  • Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm

  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proactive and commercially minded

  • Excellent attention to detail
